Floating Wind Solutions 2022

March 1-3, 2022, Marriott Marquis in Houston, USA Visit Both #507: VL Offshore (VLO) and University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) Presentation: VLO (and UTD) presents in “Design & Engineering” session about: “Cost Analysis of 15MW Platforms for Horizontal and Vertical Axis Turbines in the West Coast USA”.  The cost analysis considers VLO’s innovative floating wind platforms of the Mars-Wind Semi and Mars-Wind TLP with 15MW HAWT or VAWT. NPP, IRR and LCoE are estimated for a 210 MW wind farm at a water depth 800 in the California considering all the cost parameters of the platform hull, mooring, turbine and installation.
